Caroline Pierce is a mother, grandmother, and health enthusiast. She is a Georgia native and has spent much of her life working in both medical and natural health related jobs. Caroline decided to go back to school when her children were older and attended Everglades University's Natural and Alternative Health program. This, along with her past management experience, led her to the retail side of the natural health industry. Her hobbies include weekend music getaways, football, and spending time with her family.
What is your role at Good Nutrition? Technically, my role is "Store Manager" but I would like to think it is more "team member", "problem solver" and "teacher".
What do you like most about Good Nutrition?
Our customers are my favorite part of my job. I've laughed and cried with some and those are the moments that I cherish the most. I do what I do so that I can help someone make a difference in their life and when they walk in the door just to share good news, I know that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do.
What would you do for a career if you weren't doing this?
My first choice would be a Naturopath. My dream was to open a Free Clinic where people who could not afford alternative healthcare had a place to go and have the opportunity to receive the treatment they chose rather than the one that their insurance would pay for.
What is your family like?
The first word that comes to mind is "crazy" but truly, I'm blessed. I am a single mother to four wonderful children. We may not have had it easy but we always had each other. They are grown now and each one makes me so proud. I now have three beautiful grandchildren and two of the best daughter-in-laws that a mother could ask for. If you can't tell...I absolutely love my family.
What is your favorite sport?
If you come into the store between August and January you will most likely see me wearing red and black. I am a football junkie and I may possibly own more Atlanta Falcons / Georgia Bulldogs shirts than I do anything else. So please, come by and talk football with me anytime!
If you could write a self-help book, what topic would you choose?
I would love to write a book for all of the younger girls and women and help them find their inner-strength when they need it most. This has been a theme throughout my life and I was lucky enough to have wonderful role models. It seems that so many young girls have no idea that they are so much tougher than they realize.
What music is on your iPhone?
I love all kinds of music! I have everything from Ella Fitzgerald to Alice Cooper to Bonnie Raitt to The Allman Brothers. Most played would have to be The Beatles.
